Like it or not, the reality is that most Americans favor a strident crackdown on both legal and undocumented immigrants and frustration with the current system is a big part of what propelled Donald Trump to victory.

KANSAS SECSTATE KRIS KOBACH IS THE STRONGEST IMMIGRATION CRITIC IN THE NATION AND HIS PROPOSED CRACKDOWNS ON ILLEGAL ALIENS DEFINE TRUMP PROMISES TO HIS SUPPORTERS!!!
The reality is that Prez Obama has promoted policies that have lead to more deportations than any other American Presidential administration in history. But that wasn't good enough for many Conservatives. Meanwhile, anti-Trump protesters are late to the party when it comes to defending the rights and humanity of the undocumented.
Moreover, just like the historic Trump win . . . American intolerance for both illegal and legal immigrants has always been the hallmark of Trump's campaign platform with no distinction between the two in campaign rhetoric. Furthermore, even a cursory check of opinion polling reveals that Trump voters favor an extreme immigration crackdown. These attitudes have widespread support among not only more mainstream Republicans but also with Democratic Party pro-union advocates concerned about preserving American jobs. Disagree or not, Trump voters have told the world in no uncertain terms that immigrants both legal and illegal are the primary target for this new epoch in U.S. policy.
TKC REALITY CHECK: AMERICAN VOTERS FROM BOTH PARTIES FAVOR AN IMMIGRATION CRACKDOWN!!!
Personally, this blog simply enjoys a new world where conservative white people no longer have to use coded language for their antipathy toward brown people. While this immigration crackdown effort shows very little direct financial benefit for most Americans and is unlikely to create more economic opportunity for working-class laborers - The personal satisfaction that many voters feel upon an restrictions enacted and enforced against all immigrants is revealing about the true character of Conservative values.
Debate the merits of their beliefs but there's no arguing with the fact that Conservative white people who comprise most of Trump's support are uncomfortable with increasing American diversity and the surge of minority populations bolstered by lackadaisical immigration enforcement.
TKC Real Talk Translation: Trump voters can dress it up in as much legalese and fancy verbiage as they would like . . . Racism and resentment against brown people is an essential part of the Trump doctrine. Most of his voters believe it's perfectly justified as a response to the politically correct and multicultural rhetoric espoused by Prez Obama which has presided over worsening economic conditions for lower income Americans despite an array of empty promises. Still, everybody knows the term "Making America Great Again" is nothing more than effort to preserve this nation's legacy of intolerance and legalized discrimination rather than move toward an unknown and literally darker future wherein middle-class white people are no longer at the top of cultural pecking order.
Objectively: There's nothing wrong with people looking out for what they think is their own self-interest . . . The only thing that's disgusting is the deception that we're talking about anything more than white backlash against Democratic Party rhetoric that invokes diversity to accomplish a different but equally disastrous agenda.
The punchline is that none of this culture war blathering will impact the corporate oligarchy that rules this nation's Democracy and exploits, oppresses and subjugates most middle-to-lower-income Americans no matter their demographic backgrounds.
And so, Kris Kobach joining Team Trump and the ensuing and ongoing immigration crackdown is merely the first step in a culture war agenda that has little to no benefit to the struggle of American workers who will continue to confront a losing battle with overseas competition and technology.
