Two metro friends are still in shock after two men with guns dragged them out of a car, shot at them, and hit one victim in the leg.
The armed robbery happened in the back parking lot of Quinton's bar in Waldo near 75th and Washington around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. The friends were heading into Quinton's for a few beers when they say they nearly lost their lives.

The comment that the people who did this are the ones protesting Trump is wrong. It shows an attitude of, "If you're not like me you are just the enemy" and it is misguided and wrong. Political protesters are different than armed car-jackers, even though some of them may be of the same race. I would assume you are white, but it doesn't mean you are the same as some backwoods meth head that commits burglaries to support their habit. It doesn't mean you are the same as a Catholic priest that abuses children. It doesn't mean that you are the same as the worst of your race.
