Here's a reminder of Kansas City quasi-government agencies acting in secrecy and without even informing locals of their action with taxpayer cash . . . The Biz Journal discovered this info second hand:
KC Biz Journal: Port KC approves incentives for $110M CVS facility in closed session
Deets:
"Local incentives for the $110 million, 400-job CVS Pharmacy Inc. distribution center project formally announced on Tuesday were approved in closed session two weeks ago by Port KC. John Snyder, a Dentons US LLP attorney representing CVS (NYSE: CVS) at a City Plan Commission meeting on Tuesday, said he attended the closed Port KC meeting during which an inducement resolution related to the CVS project proposed for Skyport Industrial Park was discussed and approved."
Developing . . .
400 warehouse jobs should put KC on the map.
