  2. How can he lose faith in democracy when an election is being held where the candidates make their pitch to the voters who then get to vote on who they support
    Unless he means that he doesn't like the idea that there are a boatload of Americans who decided they were no longer going to sit down and keep quiet and let the democrats do anything they want
    That's what he's upset about. You see, to liberals all people are to submit to the self proclaimed superiority of leftist ideology
    And no one is allowed to oppose it
    This is what democracy looks like: when you push people in a corner they start to push back
