ReplyDeleteYou guys seem to have reading comprehension issues. She was sentenced to life with no possiblity of parole for 25 years. And a consecutive ... that means the opposite of concurrent ... sentence of five years and 8 months on other counts. Even if she gets the five-year sentence reduced for good behavior or some damn thing, she is likely to be in the slammer for at least 26 or 27 years or so. And the parole board could keep her locked up on the main charge beyond the minimum 25 years. She is 30 now. She will be an old lady when she gets out. On the other hand, since she'll presumably be meth-free in the lockup, she'll still have her teeth when she gets out, so there's that. Also, "Mean Jean" is the prosecutor in Jackson County, which is not in Kansas. Also, Pigpen Heather will not serve her time in the Dotte, though that's where the crimes happened. She will be in whatever shithole Kansas women go to for the long count. Topeka, maybe. Sheesh.
