Sad news regarding one of TKC's main influences during my college years who also proved influential in the lives of so many locals currently working the field of communications. Truly one of the most brilliant, patient and insightful locals to work in Kansas City during the modern era. Here's what is probably the best write-up about his career: Tom Poe, A 'Quiet Force' In Kansas City's Film, UMKC, LGBT And Faith Communities, Dies

ReplyDeleteTom was good man and he helped everybody he could. TKC is right, he was a brilliant scholar and a very nice person.
ReplyDeletekansas city really has an amazing number of interesting people considering its outward provincialism.
ReplyDeleteTony was wrong and I have every intention of finding out why.
ReplyDeleteProfessor Bull was also a good teacher.

ReplyDeleteWhen they find your putrid remains oozing into the sofa of the apartment in your mothers basement, there will be no obituary because you did nothing with your sad life. They will simply shovel your rotten remains composed mostly of bile into a cheap plastic body bag, burn your cum crusted clothing, and not even your long suffering mother will bother to remember your useless wasted life. Stop trying to validate your pathetic existence by spreading hate against people better than you, which in your case, is everybody.
Strangely enough, I think the last comment would be approved by my old friend professor Poe in the context of a blog.
ReplyDeleteR.I.P. Professor Tom Poe.
