Anyone get shot or mugged in Westport last night?
ReplyDeleteAin't nobody got time for dat.....
ReplyDeleteNope this is money that needs to be given to developers not the police.
ReplyDeleteNo they dont. The have the public safety sales tax passed in Nov. 2010. Police aren't getting any more money. The memorandum says they were using the money for other purposes with no oversight by the state. (Not that pathetic Chris Koster or the state auditor or state revenue department)
ReplyDeleteThe issue with the public safety tax is that the revenue is put into the general fund for the city, divided up amongst other departments and then the city decides how much the police and fire get. Independence and other city's have public safety taxes that 100% goes directly to PDF and fd. I think if kc did that people would have less issue with it considering some of the public safety sales tax goes to park maintenance and other unrelated departments
DeleteWe need a Toy Train Extension to Westport and The Plaza!
ReplyDeleteElections are not free. Even the mail in types!
Sorry, Cerner is next in line for their North KC Expansion. So please move to the back of the line and we'll see if there is any money left after that.
ReplyDeleteOffer to put the call center in the Jazz Museum.
ReplyDeleteWe need a wall like the TV Celeb In Chief promised. End Obmacare, Deportation and throw Hillary in jail. You voted, the people have spoken.
ReplyDeleteThey need 1 million to waste.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how the Sly gang never finds it necessary to appeal to the public when there is a pet project in the works, but let infrastructure or emergency services require normal maintenance and upgrades and the city whines to the public as if there are not a pack of bureaucrats on the payroll who are supposed to plan for this shit. FUCK THEM!
ReplyDeleteGet a tin can and a string. You don't answer 911 worth a shit anyway. This story does explain the recent rash of news stories from the ass kissing local media about 911 issues. It is all part of the PR scheme. Now just bend over and wait to see what the city tries to cram down your throat. I am betting they will get the county involved so they can drain that bank too. After all Frank and Sly have become good buddies recently.
Put 911 call center on the toy train they great wi fi
