    Sure, Mrs. Brady had a maid and some groovy pantsuits. Oh, and a "successful" architect for a spouse--says who?

    That Bratty Bunch had nuthin' much to brag on really with THREE siblings to a bedroom?! Crap, most of us 60's-70's era innercity kids were shoehorned into Strawberry Hill bungalow bedrooms with at least one, or two sisters/brothers for a decade, at least. Our luckier Catholic school friends/cousins had those wider age gaps between siblings, or the eventual room additions to attics/basements/garages--for THEIR VERY OWN ROOM!!!

    Loads of Gen X & Y have lived in the luxuries of their own bedrooms with ample closets adjoining their own bathrooms. Fewer kids per family in larger homes still trends for plenty of these two generations. College dorms and barracks during basic is usually their first immersion in "roughing it". The 8 Bradys, plus boarder Alice, bunched into that California split is "old skool", "uncool", "you be a fool" for their tastes.
