Fox4: Kansas City police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened after a Wednesday evening robbery. Police say officers were called to the 3100 block of E. 49th Street at about 5:50 p.m. where a victim was suffering from a gunshot wound.
Quick look at stats:
- That's the 110th murder so far this year.
- At this point last year there were only 92 murders which was still a 30% increase over the year before that . . .
- The KCMO murder count now stands near a 10-year-high for this time of year and could be the highest so far this century.

Wait until tomorrow when everybody pretends to be thankful...and the dreaded BLACK FRIDAY. My bet is three more die between now and Saturday.
