Sorry to hear this, he was a wonderful writer for decades at the Kansas City Star. He will be missed.
ReplyDeleteOut of respect I.m going to spend the day wiping my arse with the KC Star
ReplyDeleteAt least he could write with originality.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed his articles.
ReplyDeleteSo true 6:50, unlike that other toupe wearing jerk on here.
ReplyDeleteI used to like his columns until I found out that he was a complete fraud: the dude never owned a dog . . .
ReplyDeleteI remember a great line from one of his opinion pieces where he said: "The people who tell you to pull yourself by your bootstraps control the supply of bootstraps."
ReplyDelete8:49---You're a liar.
ReplyDeleteRIP to a fine man.
ReplyDeleteHis politics aside, I had several chats with him about hunting, dogs, how much I hate squirrels.
ReplyDeleteRIP Gus. Pet Rufus for me.
Proof that you can be on the left and a decent person. Mary Sanchez, take note......
ReplyDeleteOverrated gun control dude. Just because he hunted did not make him an authority on the rights we have to keep and bear arms.
