FAILING UPWARD!!! KANSAS CITY NATIVE JASON KANDER COULD BE NEXT PREZ?!?

Here's Dead Tree Media "reporting" Twitter chatter and DNC gossip which is good enough for early evening consideration . . .

"Kander, Missouri’s secretary of state, will speak on Dec. 20 to the annual holiday party of Progress Iowa, a liberal Democratic group, in downtown Des Moines.

"This is, of course, the way a lot of presidential campaigns get started . . . Kander, of course, lost his race to Republican incumbent Roy Blunt. In January, he’ll be out of office and looking for work . . ."

And so, because social media and most of the MSM is nothing more than an echo chamber.

We offer this tidbit to our blog community of critics and other miscreants . . .

COULD JASON KANDER MAKE A SUCCESSFUL RUN FOR PREZ IN 2020?!?!

More likely is that Kander is done with Missouri and moving on to national DNC aspirations urged by his colleagues.

Either way, none of this is any way related to his SecState job which he abandoned despite his promises to run for reelection.

You decide . . .

Comments

  1. I'd vote for him. What we saw with the Trump vote isn't so much a red vs. blue state divide but an old vs. young divide and Kander is a way to bridge that gap. He's one of the few Democrats who did it, with more support he could turn around the fortunes of the party.

  2. Hey dude, the dude lost.

  3. Failing upward? Just like Trump did it! Losing 1/3rd of his family fortune and then landing in the White House.

    It's the American way!

  7. The Star running DNC talking points. It used to be nice when KCMO had a real newspaper.

  8. he looks like he'd make a good secretary of state of a smaller state.

  9. When it comes time to divvy up the infrastructure pork, MO will be better off gaving Blunt, who's heading up the inagauration ceremonies and very much present.

Lets hope he can start by getting I70 widened and maybe a fast, maglev train.

  10. After his phony "military hero" campaign loss, he should probably begin by seeing if he can get someone to buy him a drink in some local American Legion hall.
Then maybe up his game and run for president of a local obscure nonprofit or club.
He'll probably be surprised at how quickly the swells forget him as soon as he leaves office and they don't need him any more.

  11. The Shermanator?

  12. Kander ran the best campaign in the nation compared to other Democrats. Which is saying, Democrats don't know shit about running elections at the state level anymore.

  13. Ha! This dude doesnt know how to MAGA

  14. Hey, he can work his way around a gun and he got more attention than any other statewide official in Missouri.

Looks like he also has the ability to raise a lot of money. Which is always so nice.

    I'd vote for him again.

I like the cut of his jib!

  15. Dems had a chance to drain the swamp today, but they voted to keep the old dike (or should it be dyke) in place. More red states to come with her in the lead.

  16. Look, let's cut through a lot of bullshit comments listed above (though 8:19 was very good!)....

    Kander is a LOSER!!

In politics, NOBODY likes a LOSER!

Who wrote that KC Star article? Kraske! Speaking of losers, Kraske is a liberal Democrat paid mouthpiece, who constantly sucks off the big Blue Teat that is the Democrat Machine. Smartest thing he did was basically just go part-time at the Star a few years back.
Kraske is neither Up-To-Date, nor a real journalist, but don't let that stop him from teaching others how to shill for politicians.

  17. Schumer and Pelosi will continue the downward spiral of the Democratic Party while bringing in a ton of money.

The Democratic Party's leadership wants no part of any Blue Dog Democrat. They want to keep identity politics as their mantra.

Martin Luther King and Malcolm X saw that America's problems were not a black vs white problem but a haves vs have-nots.

Pretending to represent the poor and the working class is why Trump one. The institutionalized racism is alive and well in the DNC too.

  18. Yeah go ahead and run Kander/McCatshit for prez in 2020. LMFAO
