TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! TECH COMPANY PLEADS FOR KANSAS CITY, KANSAS POLICE INFO TRANSPARENCY: RESTORE DATA FEED FOR CRIME MAPPING!!!

Right now we have an important FIRST WORD about the vital role that digital tech and public information play in the fight against crime.

Check it:

FIRST ON TKC!!! CHECK THIS PLEA FROM A TECH COMPANY ASKING FOR MORE COOPERATION TO HELP INFORM THE PUBLIC AS KCK OFFICIAL CRIME MAPPING INFO HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN FOR MONTHS!!!

We think this tech request is totally reasonable and will help protect locals as crime numbers continue to spike across the State Line. In this digital age, the fight for the correct info online is one of the top concerns as spin, hype and not even "community outreach" are as important as VERIFIED NUMBERS in order to properly alert the public about our local crime problem.

Here's the word . . .

"I'm with a public facing crime mapping and alert website. We work similar to a news agency, but deal solely with crime information. We are not a vendor to police agencies.

"We had to stop mapping crime in KCKPD when they upgraded to their 'new' RMS system which knocked the feed offline back in April.

"KCMO police post their data feed to an open data website - where anyone is free to collect, use, and share the information.

"It has already been 6 months since the new software was installed and the feed hasn't been restored (by the KCKPD).

"We feel that police transparency is of the utmost importance to promote public trust and help reduce crime. This is an unsatisfactory amount of time for a community to be without crime information."

  1. the numbers are bad.

    That's why they're hiding them.

A lot of KCK has turned very violent and keeping the information literally off the map helps keep it quiet.

  2. The numbers are bad indeed. I would imagine nearly as many deaths and robberies as KCMO. Another reason to leave this town, jobs that wants slave labor from a desperate work force and all the crime you want. Yea!!!

  3. Yip technology will fix everything.

  4. KCK police don't want the public to know how much crime is around, or more importantly AT the Speedway/Cerner area. KCK wants you to think while crime is heavy it's isolated to downtown to about the old Indian Springs Mall. Not the case.

  5. Losing the fight for crime in KCK. I wonder if Mayor Holland is aware of one of many problems like this during his administration?

  6. Just map the area with race and filter on negroes and you're all set. Easiest search parameters ever.

Because negroes commit most of the crimes in a given area, see. Those are the facts.

  7. @10.11AM. That's why KCK doesn't want the map. Because the truth might get out. Remember KCK's mayor was the guy who pandered to La Raza and did a speech saying he was proud of his county's high level of white flight over the last twenty years.

The map might show the truth, blacks AND area's with high illegal immigrants are commit the most crime in WYCO.

  9. 9:39 you failed to see the mayor and the police chief laughing it up on the KCKPD front steps awhile back. Two peas in a pod. Added a PR person to the already bloated city payroll to push their foolishness down our necks.

Listening tour, ya right. Crime at the Legends is off the charts. Ask any one who works there. Just wait until the holidays. Shoppers paradise for local punks.
