Kansas City, Mo. police said the vandals used paint and magic markers to put racial slurs on vehicles, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage to 21 vehicles.
Police said the men, described only as white males, damaged cars, slashed tires, and in one case doused insecticide inside a vehicle. That car owner hopes keeping the wind doors and windows open will help the vehicle air out. A homeowner reportedly chased the suspects about 20 yards from his house but stopped in his tracks when one of the suspects pulled out a gun. Police said they found a 9mm magazine in the street and flashlights the suspects left behind.
