ReplyDeleteAll things considered, I believe that this was a strong week for Jason Kander. His campaign is moving into high gear and he is getting the support he needs from Kansas City and across Missouri. He is one of the most promising leaders we've seen emerge from KC and I think that our city would prosper with him in office. He's got my vote and most people I know in my neighborhood are doing a lot to support him.

South Asian cuisine (here that's mostly Indian, but it also can be Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Nepali, Sri Lankan and Afghan) is one of the glories of living in the Kansas City area. There is a big enough South Asian population to give us one or two dozen grocery stores and supermarkets, plus lots of restaurants. The food is NOT all "hot," although it is usually spicy. It is completely unlike Western food, and every mouthful is an adventure. If you've never tried it, check it out.
