Kansas City First Friday Political Art

It's First Friday in Kansas City which has kinda turned into a marketing event for everything from condos to $40 t-shirts . . . Forwarded our way via social media, here's a quick peek at a piece from KCMO cultural critic and artist Jessica Logsdon that offers a bit of alternative perspective and should inspires some contemplation about how the local biz class have worked to co-opt most cowtown artists . . .

Quote from the artist via social media that's not the nice promo talk that sells pricey small plates in the Crossroads . . . Jessica Logsdon: "I have lived in Kansas City 16 years and I hate it more and more everyday."

More in a bit . . .
