Kansas City Country Club Plaza Inspiration: 'Man In The Mirror' Remix Live Performance

Despite a double shooting last weekend, Kansas City continues to flock to the Plaza in order to enjoy people-watching, pricey retail and live music.

The Ay-Music "Battery Tour" is one of the most popular attractions drawing hundreds of fans most nights and they seem to have more staying power than even Pokémon Go . . . Which has now been consigned to the dumping ground of digital history like the Zuma Zuma guy.

But I digress . . . This is supposed to be an inspirational cowtown interlude . . .

And so, to offer just a bit of balance . . . Check out this cover of a Michael Jackson Classic as a street performer croons "Man In The Mirror" for a crowd of locals hoping to delay any conversation for just a bit longer.

It's good stuff and a local slice of life for the late night/early morning before we get back to the news . . . More in a bit . . .

  1. The kneejerk response here is to criticize anything creative that other KC artists try but I've found this gathering is a great way too pick up some hot poon.

They get the women dancing and that's the first step.

    Great job guys!

Does anyone care if old white men come to The Plaza, or not?

They think their patronage is critical.

I think young people will have a better time without them.

  6. Yes, 4:07am.
What business cares about people who might actually be customers who buy something at their stores?
When, instead, the world around you can become an endless re-run of "Glee" with young people dancing and singing and enjoying themselves and having it all for FREE!
KCMO is already all about FREE.
    At the public's expense.
    Grow up!

  7. @ 6:36: Just stay home. Or go to the Legends or whatever. You clearly don't have enough class to come to the Plaza.

  10. Who the fuck writes this delusional bullshit ? Nobody goes to the Plaza anymore. Shops are closing. Only people down there are losers with no money to spend other than moms allowance.

Fuck the Plaza. Let the niggers have it. Like everything else, they will fuck it into a pile of rubble.

  13. ^^^^^I live in a neighborhood you'll never afford and I agree with them. I'm lucky to remember the Plaza when it was exclusive and refined, not a human trash can.
