KANSAS CITY CHIEFS CLING TO 27-21 VICTORY OVER NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!!!

An impressive win today puts the 2016 back into play for fanboys who had given up on the team after the embarrassing defeat.

Quick insights and review:

- Chiefs smartly capitalized on turnovers and sloppy play by the Saints.

- Credit to the secondary - Ball punching (hehe) won the game by ruining a critical drive for the Saints.

- And while a win is a win, this was closer than most diehard fans expected.

And now, the playoff talk starts . . .

The Chiefs have convinced all the local newsies of a season restart and legitimately seem to be on an upswing. But the NFL season is long and for now the team remains healthy as key players are returning to the lineup after this important victory that makes Autumn in Kansas City just a bit more interesting.

You decide . . .

  1. Next 3 games will determine the playoff race.

This was a good first step back in the right direction.

  3. Ball punching LOL. You're an idiot. But I will agree that this was an important win and will give the sports talkers something to gloat about this week.

  4. Tony is having mixed emotions today. His Raiders won today. But I bet he's still mad that his Dodgers with all their money and with the best pitcher in the game got their butts kicked on Saturday by the Cubs.

  5. ^^^ Stop being creepy. It's football, a pastime for deplorable, fat, ugly, rich, whites to distract them from their empty lives. Sound familiar 3:27

  6. Early season win for the Chiefs, they won't look this good at the end of November. Same old story KC has seen for the pas 30 years.

Len Dawson is the last decent quarterback had in years.

  7. I notice there was none of that protesting bullshit. Glad that Hunt put an end to that crap.

  8. @3:32. It's because owners are the TV ratings and the national talk isn't about football it's about the Cubs and the World Series. Football has been on the back burner most of this month to baseball. Unless it's about Brady or the Cowboys.

  9. I don't watch the Chiefs. They have been losers so long it's not worth my time. Can I claim this as a deduction on my Jackson County Property taxes? That would be real news I could use.

  10. 9-7 8-8 at best.Anything else is a gift.

  11. Chiefs could be better if we had a decent quarterback. If you don't think Alex Smith is the weakest link in the team, then you don't know what you're talking about.

  15. ....and those piggy cheerleaders are not looking any better this season either. I bet the Chief's sexual harassment insurance is a bargain.

  16. That team will never go to the Superbowl again, ever.
Give up and get a life, fans.

  17. Can we get Trump to pick the cheerleaders next season?

  18. I got a feeling there are a few of them with no pussy to grab.

Damn I hope tony isn't saving transcripts of these comments. I might want to run for dog catcher next decade.

  19. @4:50 if the cheerleaders all loosen up their lips and assume the Monica Lewinsky position, they'll all be ready for the President Clinton salute.
