Have the streetcar go right by it and tax everyone who drives by.

Make Kareem Rush pay for it. He pays for everything else JaRon Broke (cars, fountains, Pembroke Hill hymens, the hearts of vindictive KU fans)

^^^^^Wow. That's a new one. I don't even know if there's a name for that perversion.

Let the Ward Parkway elite pay for the repairs!!!

don't they already pay more in property taxes, called the boulevard tax?

in any case, it's a kcmo screwup not to have the fountain working.

Time for a CID. Let the home owners living nearby pay for it.

9:52am – the boulevard tax was eliminated a while back. City is adding and increasing every tax on earth, but thought the boulevard tax should go.

in this day & age can we not simplify these damn things to make water squirt in the air and have lights on it??

its 2016 for fuck sake!!

hope it doesn't get privatized and have a billboard.

The fountain has looked bad all summer not being in service. The way KCMO spends money with reckless abandon, it's not like the fountains are going to make or break the city.

The City of Fountains seems to have trouble coming up with money to fix the fountains. But has plenty of money to give tourist free trolley rides.

what is the name of the official who decided to not fix the fountain?

Slyme James

How about a $3000 fine for every car that crashes into it? That would add up fast.
