Jackson County COMBAT Tax Forever

Here's the Jackson County COMBAT Tax explained from the number crunchers at a local Conservative think tank . . . TKC trolls imagine they pay our blogger bills and while it's fun to act like middle-class and rich people owe us money . . . The fact is, our blog community has question COMBAT tax funds since before this crew was bothering local talk show hosts.

That's not to say that we don't agree with arguments against another local forever tax . . . But we also agree with the wardrobe choices of Nicki Minaj . . . Yet there is no connection to either institution.

Anyhoo . . . Check a Conservative argument the tax that mostly preaches to the choir . . .

Immortal COMBAT?

  1. Perhaps if the money was spent as advertised rather than a slush fund for grifters and non-related grifting it would be worthwhile.

Put it into the same false flag as D.A.R.E.

  3. In theory I don't object to the COMBAT tax but they have not had any kind of internal audit. That's where my objections are. They need to show taxpayers how they're spending that money before they come back for more.

  4. It's all spend on what is tantamount campaigning events for the executive and the legislature.

  5. We've seen the latest 990s on the Blow-Me Institute, Tony, and you're on 'em.

So, by your "standards" (ha) that's good enough proof you're taking their money.

  6. Screenshot? Seriously, I'd like to see it. Or send it to the Pitch. They have reported on this stuff before and I think they would LOVE to slam TKC since he's surpassing them now.

I'm not even kidding. It's doubtful that TKC is taking their money but if you can prove it. Please send something to the Pitch so they can post and blow TKC out of the water. I don't like the fact that this blog is a better news source than my favorite alternative paper.

  7. Agree with @ 4:43. The combat tax started out with the right intentions but now it's nothing more than a slush fund for the executive and his favorites.

  8. They need to show us how they spent that money they have already gotten before we give them more?
Ok, just like the Jazz District has had to do? HAHAHAHAHAH.
    No.

  10. Where's Frank?

I thought he was going to help campaign for this thing. I haven't seen him once.

Why is he letting everyone else do his work for him.

  12. is there a chance voters would defeat it to send a message to rework the approach to crime?
