ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness, why would you call the program "Stories From Queer Voices"?
ReplyDeleteObviously Mr. King felt it necessary to forewarn attendees that this was a QUEER event, apparently because he didn't think the material could otherwise stand on it's own merit.
Of course, the harm from this attitude is that it encourages the LGBT community to remain insular and segregated, while discouraging participation from the heterosexual community.
Now that sounds like a plan.
