This morning our blog community gave "Sexy Lexi" her marching orders and she came back with a report that doesn't tell us much new but calls a transit dude and a former council lady "leaders" in this movement to champion another rigged Kansas City vote . . .

ReplyDeleteMan if that wasn't the lie of the year.
Let give the streetcar credit, it attracted ONE new business along the starter line; a fruit juice place around 19th & Main. Maybe if it was expanded it could attract another business?
ReplyDeleteCannot believe these idiots are wasting their time promoting an expansion. Those federal grants for streetcars have dried up. They can’t raise the KCMO water bills enough to cover the lack of a federal grant.
ReplyDeleteSuper Dave – speaking of liars, whatever happened to Russ Johnson?
ReplyDeleteIt's all a matter of who's elected president.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what the motivation is for Johnson. He's got no skin in this except that it may increase the value of his condo on Baltimore. I think he just likes the thrill of pushing things on other people. He's just a controlling jerk.
ReplyDeleteWhen will they have a plan to pay for their sewers.
ReplyDelete11:08, last I heard he is pedaling his tiny IT business while looking for someone to pay him some real money. I suggest he move from Kansas City if he is really seeking work.
ReplyDeleteFederal Grants are '53 % tax money of ". How many times do you want to be taxed. Idiots.
ReplyDeleteI am tempted to join the 47%. I
SD Ha!
SD absolutely correct. Too many damn consultants working KC.
ReplyDeleteAnd now they hired Jan Marcuson. I was late to the walk Sunday morning but all I saw was three guys sitting in the coffee shop along Brookside Blvd. There are 300 people who ask what he F___ Are we doing spending money on this loser for every one person who asks Davey when is he going to expand!
ReplyDeleteThey obviously do not believe in democracy as the vote for the expansion was soundly defeated.
