TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY RANK & FILE POLICE RAGE AS CITY LEADERS REFUSE TO HOLD CHIEF FORTÉ ACCOUNTABLE FOR GROWING PROBLEMS WITHIN KCPD!!!

Behind the scenes and unreported by any other local news source, there is a growing and palpable discontent with the leadership of Kansas City Police Chief Forté throughout the ranks of his own department.

Accordingly . . .

KANSAS CITY POLICE RANK AND FILE EXPRESS OUTRAGE AND FRUSTRATION WITH THE FORTÉ ADMINISTRATION AMID CHILD SEX CRIME INVESTIGATION ACCUSATIONS OF NEGLIGENCE!!!

A KC Police Insider instructed us to look at this recent comment just a bit more closely:

"(Chief) Forté has failed the department with his choices for promotion, transfers and now he's promoting another 6 captains to a mentor program. The department cannot investigate child crimes, reduced homicide and robbery squads. Crime is out of control and no one cares about the victims. What in the f#ck is going on?"

Deadline . . .

And let's not forget that the current administration has presided over a HISTORIC RISE IN KANSAS CITY HOMICIDES THIS YEAR . . . So, while many 3rd District denizens have vehemently defended the current leadership, it is THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES who have suffered the greatest loss of human life under his watch . . .

Meanwhile, the latest accusations of "incompetence" have been laid at the feet of the current administration despite the Chief's efforts earlier this year that included suspending detectives and other staffers.

Let's be clear . . . We're writing this post with a great deal of respect for Chief Forté, his dedication and groundbreaking work in the face of constant criticism.

However, it's unfair to ignore the growing list of complaints from Kansas City Police confronting increasing crime on local streets. During his tenure, the Chief has earned nationwide accolades for his outreach to the Black community. While that progress is important, Kansas City's cynical and opportunistic elected leaders deflect rising criticism of the top cop with the tacitly racist notion that his racial identity is a key component in preventing rioting and unrest in our city during tense times between authorities and protestors across the nation. This pathologically politically correct notion has made the Chief immune, untouchable and basically unaccountable for growing problems with the department during his tenure.

In the final analysis, neither politically motivated defense nor attacks against the Chief matter much to the rapidly growing number of crime victims in Kansas City who have insult added to their injuries as civic special interests dominate any discussion of law enforcement leadership and supersede real life concerns over public safety.

  1. Accountability from leaders in Kansas City?

    Not going to happen.

    But thanks for playing.

You should know this by now, politics always trumps public safety until it's time for a tax increase that's eaten up by the FD.

  3. What about the newspaper, aren't they supposed to look out for public safety and children who are abused? Seems like they give the Chief a pass every time there is complaint. Probably a condition of their TIF.

    ReplyDelete
  4. The city needs to take control of the department. It's tax payer money and there is absolutely no accountability to the citizens. The chief doesn't care about the citizens, did he just take the community police officers away?

  5. the newspaper says it's brownback's fault.

  6. It's time for a new Chief. That is the bottom line.

  7. KCPD one epic failure.
Like who in their right mind would ever call them for help?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yeah he reached out to the black community all right and look at Killa City now.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Did he pick captains without a process yet?

    ReplyDelete
  10. He hangs out with Urban Summit trash hoping they will come to his aid.
    Asshole.

    Get rid of Forté.

  11. The State of MO needs to step in. After all, aren't the truly in control? Can't expect the city management-joke) to do a damn thing. The 2 hate each other and both are basically incompetent and dysfunctional.

    ReplyDelete
  12. KCPD Needs an outside chief. The groupthink and old boys club needs a shakeup.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Charge developers taxes. No more 20 year tax abatements. And charge to ride the streetcar. KCMO needs the money.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yeah, but we need taco trucks on every corner!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Googled this whole debacle. Officers were suspended in January and it is almost October without a completed case. What in the fuck is the chief doing? He needs to be fired, the community has lost any faith in that department. When does he mayor speak up?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Maybe Sly and Forte are lovers and that explains why neither comes out against the other.

    ReplyDelete
  17. KCPD has had problems with the last two chiefs. Maybe it's time we looked at the selection process.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Corwin was just as bad.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Kansas City a failed City.

    ReplyDelete
  20. If all these idiots are mad, I guess the Chief is doing something right.

    Losers.

    ReplyDelete
  21. agree that Corwin sucked too. Absolutely.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Forte's girlfriend is taking too much of his time and attention. He needs to go!

  23. Lets be blunt

I made around $340.00 an Hour for a 50 hour week as a Fuel Tank Driver hauling JT-9 Jet Fuel during the IRAQ War in 2003 /2004

it came out to be about 125,000 a year give or take a few thousand

so that gives ya some idea of what forte is making per hour, which is more than I made in war torn IRAQ where we were under attack by terrorists daily in the Convoys.

I'd say this FORTE is way over-paid for what he does and obviously isn't compenent in his job as were all seeing in this city.

then again, look at what a Degenerate MAYOR we have as well !!!!!!

    1. You know why you were driving a fuel truck in a war zone? Your math sucks.

      340*50=17,000 a week
      17,000*52 weeks=884,000 a year

Forte is a complete fuck up, but his hourly rate without comp time is about 90.00 an hour.

    2. And yet, despite your incredible financial wealth and wisdom, you spend your days trolling in the gutter. I guess success as a truck driver didn't translate into a marketable skill outside the social security office.

  25. Thing about good/great police chiefs you have seen or read about over the years. Think about their accomplishments, the way they lowered crime and made their community safe. Think of how the men and women, law enforcement and civilian employees honored and respected them...then think of darryl

    ReplyDelete
  26. Talk about fucking stupid. Am I to believe that they guy who is supposed to be managing the police department gets overtime? What the fuck is wrong with this picture?

    ReplyDelete
  27. They are not going to get rid of him yet. He hasn't finished running off/firing all the white intelligent officers so he will be around for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  28. We have reduced detectives in Robbery, Homicide, Sex Crimes and Narcotics. Reduced patrol officers and civilians. The CAC investigation is just the tip of the iceberg, wait until you hear about all of the others.

The staffing to NOVA and extra command spots Forte has created has left he department unable to effectively handle calls, or investigate crimes. Now he is promoting 6 more captains to spots that don't even exist. Those spots could be in CAC.

Hey Forte, are the children less important than your command staff? This is madness.
