TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY NORTHLAND ELECTION FIGHT: JUDGE RULES AGAINST MISSOURI STATE SENATOR RYAN SILVEY'S EFFORT TO DISQUALIFY ARMY VETERAN OPPONENT!!!

Missouri State Senator Ryan Silvey lost the first round of his court fight against Democratic opponent and veteran J Ranen Bechthold in a recent decision.

FIRST ON TKC: Hon. Circut Judge Janet Sutton ruled that Mr. Bechthold is a qualified candidate for the office of State Senator for the 17th Senate District of Missouri. And even better, the costs for the actions are assessed against petitioner Ryan Silvey in this ruling.

Remember that our blog community broke this story last month.

Now, of course everything is open to appeal and RINO MO State Sen. Ryan Silvey is armed with a HUGE campaign war chest funded mostly by Kansas City Democratic Party leaning law firms and his politico buddies like Mayor Sly , former State Rep. Mike Talboy & MO State Sen. Jason Holsman.

Kansas City Insiders remind us that this DESPERATE fight from Sen. Silvey is mostly because a great many Missouri Republicans fear that Trump won't help them down ballot and the close Presidential contest could cost incumbents.

Like it or not and with respect of partisans on both sides of the aisle . . .

MISSOURI REP. RYAN SILVEY LOOKS SCARED IN THIS COURT BATTLE AGAINST A MILITARY VETERAN AND HE WOULD DO BETTER TO COMPETE ON THE ISSUES RATHER THAN CONTINUE PRESSING THIS LOSING RESIDENCY FIGHT!!!

What we see from this contest now isn't a debate about ideas or issues but simply a contest between campaign funds and legal rulings which speaks to special interests and not Kansas City voters.

You decide . . .

  1. It might be true that Trump won't help.

But Hillary is not going to help much either. And that's worse for the Democrats.

I can only agree with your last line wholeheartedly. KC voters need to look at the issues and where their candidates stand and not tow the party line.

  2. Against the troops? Not a good look Ryan.

  3. Uninformed blogger cowards will leap to conclusions not realizing that in Missouri, the SOS and county election officials are handcuffed in evaluating candidate credentials. Current law says that the opponents in an election have standing and must get a ruling from "on high" partisan appointed judges. Go figure. Talk about illegal immigration, how about illegal candidates?

  4. SCOTUS ruled yesterday that only veterans are allowed to run for public office, & that all Americans must listen to a recording of the National Anthem five times a day while standing at attention with their hands on their hearts & facing Washington D.C.

  5. Pffft the socialist libtards would have never let that happen. The insisted that we all sing the Hilliary anthem, "liar, liar, Depends on fire".

  6. I'm a republican and I hope Silvey loses. The guy is a disgrace.

  7. Sounds like Silvey's opponent used Hillary's "I intended to [not] do it" defense. Which apparantly is a 'legal' argument allowed only for library Dems.

  8. Well I'm a vet and a Dem so you know my thoughts👊
