It's Frosty Delicious all across the country this morning!

ITT Education Services, which was established nearly 50 ago and operates the ITT Technical Institutes for-profit college chain, finally came to a end this morning with both a bang and a whimper, when it announced that it is shutting down effective immediately, leaving the fate of 40,000 students currently enrolled in limbo, and some 8,000 workers without a job.

"Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex."

That is the FULL text of the Equal Rights Amendment that Phyllis Schlafley -- a LAWYER -- found so offensive. Her traditional "stay at home mom" routine was a sham that allowed her to grow wealthy as the professional anti-feminist. But, she did real and lasting damage to many folks whose lives she made more difficult.

She was a Culture Warrior waging war on equal rights for women, anti-gay, anti-choice, anti-contraception, anti-sex education. It is ironic that, especially with the vast majority of those under 50, her brand of "conservatism" has joined Communism on the ash heap of history.

She was a terrible woman who did much harm.
