LABOR DAY CELEBRATION!!! ILLEGAL ALIEN UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS STILL POWER KANSAS CITY & AMERICAN ECONOMY!!!
Organized Labor as an American political movement has been crippled, compromised and now struggles to come to grips with an election season wherein they're likely to keep losing members and influence no matter who wins.
Meanwhile . . .
Undocumented and illegal alien workers remain a vital component of the Kansas City and the American workforce overall.
Like it or not this nation runs on cheap and mostly illegal alien labor. Here are a few favorite examples:
- Think you're "Buying American" when you hire a big burly white dude with a nice truck? Think again, most Kansas City construction dudes (even the really "Conservative" ones) subcontract with illegal alien undocumented workers.
- Ever look in a local Kansas City kitchen, even at a Chinese place? They're mostly illegal alien undocumented workers.
- At the conclusion of yet another Summer season of yard work, roofing jobs and day labor of all sorts . . . These markets are still dominated by illegal alien undocumented workers who continue to keep costs low and create a vibrant and liquid economy overall.
Amid one crackdown after the next and despite promises to "build the wall" . . . The undocumented illegal alien workforce remains an integral component of the American economy even as out of touch Americans celebrate an "organized labor movement" that only exists in the popular imagination.
Locally, organized labor leaders confront serious threats to union membership with "paycheck protection" and "right to work" efforts continually gaining more traction in Missouri. On the other hand, nobody likes getting charged full price and paying people (poorly) under the table is a proud American tradition that's nearly as old as the slave labor which built this country in the first place.
And so, despite the protestations of pundits, online tough guys, desperate candidates for elected office and political poseurs pretending to advocate for workers while feeding off of one dying industry after the next . . . Undocumented illegal alien workers comprise the "real" American labor force powering the nation's economy.
Furthermore, these folks are the first to encourage deportations of violent undocumented illegal aliens within their own communities, most of them skew socially conservative AND, most importantly, their food is simply much better than so much American fast food cuisine.
Rather than rage against a battle that's already been "won" it's probably wiser to learn a bit of Spanish in order to garner a discount whilst realizing that Labor Day doesn't mean much nowadays other than a bunch of sales on merch that's mostly available thanks to the hard work of Asian toddlers toiling away overseas and undocumented illegal aliens right here in the U.S.A. hoping to build a better life by offering their services at a deep discount.
