Just a quick review of the horrible job city planners have done in the past few years . . . Kansas City, MO on Twitter

  1. City planners are either total idiots or are being paid off.

Probably being paid off would be my first guess.

  2. Let's see. People parking so they can ride the toy train to nowhere (mostly round trips, since it doesn't really take you anywhere) have made the River Market unapproachable for the rest of us.

River Market is at one end of a very short trolley line, and in a very congested neighborhood. How can professionally trained city planners and other highly paid officials not anticipate that all the River Market's parking spaces would be fillled by choo-choo riders?

What in the actual fuck is wrong with Kansas City? Is there something in the water or what?

How much more of this "free" crap can we afford?

  4. It is just stupid that they are getting rid of the parking lot at 3rd and Grand. I will quit going downtown when they do that. You could park take the MAX and go anywhere downtown.
