Sadly, it seems homicide scene etiquette in Kansas City is a growing concern given the claims of this local family. Take a look:
"Loved one’s gather twice in less than 24 hours since the killing. They say they were at the scene earlier to place flowers near the spot where Holmes was killed when they were rudely shooed away by police and security guards. . . KCPD is asking anyone who feels they were mistreated by an officer to contact the Office of Citizens Complaints."

Did they say anything about the color of their skin? Secondly, they were not talking about the investigation but the fact that their flowers were hosed down. I doubt they were putting flowers on the crime scene. Third they were grieving as you might grieve if a loved one was missing or dead.
