Kansas City Anti-Violence Talk Saturday Before Typical Late Night Gunfire Spate

More locals with good intentions talking to other locals who are concerned for their community . . . Nice sentiments but as activist Alonzo Washington often notes . . . None of this has a great deal of impact when it comes to solving or preventing crimes. Take a look: Kansas City men gather to put an end to violence

  2. Oh yes they are going to END crime. Did they set a date for the official ending of crime in KC yet? I want to join the celebration. No one has to hold their breath, right?

  3. Same people. Same names. Same song. Same sad results...none.

  4. "A variety of religious leaders." You mean a bunch of self-appointed con-men? Exactly where are their theology degrees from? If their message isn't to stop knocking up ho's and dropping out when they're 15, getting a real job, actually taking care of their kids, and to not be violent then they are wasting their breath. Actually, no matter what they're wasting their breath. In 200 years we will be saying the same things about black people we do now and they'll all be true. Hell, they'll probably be worse. Lord knoe they aren't doing anything to improve themselves.

  5. Vigil and Community task force number 2,147.
They all worked in the past. Right?

  6. Stupid "vigils" are the result of an entire population deluded into thinking that life is a reality TV show. That's what's going on, in lieu of the kind of education that used to come from schools and conscientious parents. The only solution is to call in a moving van and get as far as possible away from these people.

But,we can not afford a moving van..

he was robbed and shot to death.

since that time my kids and i have struggled to survive everyday,in this hostile part of KC..it has truly been a nightmare
