Court Dox: Kansas City Police Doggie Bites Suspected Brookside Burglar Hiding In Closet
Rising crime has been a reality in Brookside for quite some time and this week neighbors helped to catch a suspected serial burglar.
A crook is a crook but it's kind of interesting that the surfer dude lookalike doesn't conform with nasty rhetoric about East Of Troost threatening this neighborhood that has been plagued with crime.
Here's the story . . .

"According to court records filed today, a resident in the 400 block of W. 59th Terrace watched a man try to open a sliding door on the west side of his home. The resident called police. Officers working undercover nearby responded. The officers tracked the suspect to a nearby house, where they saw a window screen had been cut and a window had been opened. Officers and a K-9 officer assisted and the suspect was found hiding in a bedroom closet. He suffered a dog bite and was taken into custody. The defendant has robbery, burglary and other convictions so it was unlawful for him to possess a firearm."
