THE MORNING AFTER: PRIMARY PROVES DISASTROUS FOR JACKSON COUNTY POLITICO CRYSTAL WILLIAMS!!!
It seems that Jackson County politico mistakenly believed that so many supportive Facebook messages and social media politicking would push her candidate over the top and the primary not only proved that theory completely wrong but also holds consequences for the political future of this girl power politico.
Turns out Kansas City wasn't #ReadyForJess in much the same way very few of the locals really care about getting #Ready to endure another Clinton campaign.
Quick review of Crystal's failed political strategy . . .
- She brazenly argued and embarrassingly claimed cronyism amid an endorsement from Gov. Jay.
- Dead Tree Media followed Crystal down a losing path with Jessica Podhola and their endorsement was played like a bargaining chip behind the scenes among the local political elite.
- Crystal didn't show any real concern for Podhola's career and basically killed this political noob with kindness rather than helping her cultivate alliances that could've sent her into office months from now. Truth is #Jess isn't so bad, she was simply manipulated with the promise of "girl power" that never materialized.
LADY POLITICOS BEWARE OF THE CURSE OF CRYSTAL THAT LURES WOMEN INTO HEATED CONTESTS AND THEN ABANDONS GULLIBLE FEMALES WITH ONLY A FEW TWEETS TO FIGHT OFF FEARSOME OPPOSITION!!!
If local politics is like high school . . . Then Crystal and her crew of hags are most certainly the mean girls of Kansas City but without the looks or influence and only a bit of swag paid off by Mr. Peanut.
- Worst of all . . . Crystal Williams once again proved to be a divisive force among her colleagues as her shenanigans cost the party bigwigs HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS THAT COULD'VE BEEN SPENT TO FUND OTHER DEMOCRATIC PARTY HOPEFULS ALONG WITH CHRIS KOSTER in what will undoubtedly be a tough general election.
And so . . .
THIS PRIMARY ESSENTIALLY KILLED THE POLITICAL CAREER OF CRYSTAL WILLIAMS AND DEFINES HER AS ONE OF THE MOST ARROGANT, DESTRUCTIVE AND COSTLY LADY POLITICOS IN ALL OF KANSAS CITY HISTORY!!!
And so I guess it totally makes sense that I hear that she wants to be on the City Council next term.
