Fox4: Group of teens swarm theology students in violent attempted robbery outside Winstead’s near Plaza
Deets:
“About 7-10 kids, like 17-19 year-old kids, ran up from over where the bus station was and they just kind of surrounded us as we got to the car.”
The victim said the teens first demanded their wallets, cell phones and car keys. When the victim refused to hand anything over, he said the teens got violent and punched the other victim in the throat.
The victim said he tried to run, then fight back, but he was simply outnumbered. So he was forced to give up and protect himself the best way he knew how.
“They all kind of came at me and when they did that, I crouched down like this,” he said, re-enacting his defense position.
It was in that moment that his friend broke free and ran for help – catching the attention of off-duty police officers who were working the front doors at Winstead's.
However, the officers were unable to catch any of the teens as they sprinted off in different directions."

DeleteIt was obvious that the curfew wasn't being enforced on Saturday night. Traffic was even worse than initially reported.

ReplyDeleteThe number two job, for the tax payer, is to make enough money to keep his family out of harm's way. Harm's way, is ANY location or neighborhood, where blacks gather in number. He/she, will drive for hours to a miserable job and suck it up, in order to avoid the pestilence that blacks bring to ANY situation or ANY area.
Tax payers will create entire new cities, neighborhoods and areas of safety to get away from blacks. The trade off, in terms of labor, effort, money, inconvenience and frustration is easily worth the hardships when you consider the other option.
Then, those same tax payers, will be forced to listen to our politicians, the media, teachers and leaders, that they are guilty of "White Privilege" and are racists. That diversity is a strength. That the only reason that blacks are killing, raping and assaulting in America, is because of slavery. Lies.

It still boggles the mind that in 2016 people still go to the Plaza. Why? I think because many suburbanites still think of the Plaza as the Plaza of their youth.
ReplyDeleteA place with high end no where else in the city, maybe even state retail stores and locally owned restaurants. They still think of it as the jewel of the city.
That Plaza is long since died. All the restaurants there are chains that you can go to in your burb. The stores, well a lot of them are in Oak Park, Town Center, Zona Rosa or Legends.
So why go to a place for things you can get in JOCO, WYCO, Lee's Summit and the Northland and also have to deal with crime and a lack of highway access?
Violence in the streets is endemic all over America, because of the "Ferguson Effect". Last weekend, in the President's home town of Chicago, 9 people were killed and over 50 were shot.

This week one of what should be a role model for young black girls, City Council Woman Alissa Canady disrespected police officers and used her position to keep her car from being towed for a violation. It was the second time in weeks she had been caught with outdated tags. She refused to get out of the car,insulted the police. How can we expect anything less from black youths? Just in passing, we learn that a business like Winstead's stations security guards at its door as a normal part of doing business. That's all you need to know about what kind of place the Plaza area has become.

I think that when these kids get on the streetcar they will change, they will no longer be violent and instead the streetcar will convince them it's time to be productive members of society. No more robberies or group attacks.
