"Platte County has filed a lawsuit against Mid-Continent Public Library, challenging the legality of MCL’s proposed 25% tax levy increase and its threat to sue Platte County to force inclusion of that resolution on the ballot in Platte County for the November election."

So, Platte County is against the library? Or is Platte County against a 25% tax increase that has no sunset provision and no clearly stated purpose for the tax increase?
