Let's be clear . . . "Trend KC" is just the corporate rip-off of TKC and the only reason I'm not upset about it is because it's background music for bored secretaries and middle-management . . . The kind of stuff they talk is only good for doing low-grade accounting work and really ANOTHER wasted KMBZ forum for local discourse . . . Image two people who nobody liked in high school sitting in back of the 15 year reunion that everybody skipped and making small talk . . . That's Trend KC.
Recently, the show became even worse . . . Just as we predicted, Zak Burns departed. We predicted that he'd be gone around 8 months from the beginning of the year but he barely lasted 6 from the time we made our call.
The JoCo SOB will miss him but I suspect he's really just being sentimental for the late 90s heyday of this format that's attempting to go mainstream as people tune out of terrestrial radio altogether.

And yet KMBZ still has Dana on in the afternoons. She is a loser supreme. I don't get their desire to have a cut on the radio.

They might want to do something about that bridge. Raise it, flashing bright lights, something. It gets hit alot.
