The Fairlane area used to be a decent middle class area back in the day. We lived there when they were adding all the strip centers around the mall (early 90's) and Benjamin Stables was up and running. By the time we moved on 2003 te local attraction was watching wanna be thugs walking pit bulls with heavy chains as a leash, their pants hanging below their asses and white wife beater tee shirts. My, times do change.
