As rain threatens Kansas City once again, here's another report of sex crimes which continue to flood through Jackson County . . .
Checkit:
Inmates potentially sexually assaulted at Jackson County Regional Correctional Center
KCPD investigating reports of rape at Jackson County jail
Two female inmates say they were attacked, one raped inside Jackson County Jail
Developing . . .
This jail is a disgrace. I'm ashamed to be a taxpayer in Jackson County. We have real bad criminals, we deserve a well run jail.

ReplyDeleteThey'll have a lawsuit and get paid...
ReplyDeleteThere will be no "rookie" excuse for Frank White.
ReplyDeleteHe runs the County.
He is seeking the job openly and without cloak and dagger antics with disgraced Mike Sanders.
He did not suspend nor fire any administrator at the jail when egregious activities were uncovered by outside agents.
Frank White, time to put your pants on. Time to fire every administrator at the jail.
Troy Shulte you have a contract with the County to house municipal miscreants. You are part of this mess. What are you going to do tomorrow morning when Frank White refuses again to act responsibly?
Those two women need to Lawyer up and go after the county.
ReplyDeleteWe need to send our jail brass to Arizona for a consulting trip on how to run a detention facility. ....and to pick up some bologna sandwiches, pink underwear and some tents
ReplyDeleteLeave Frank alone! He is a Royal hero.
ReplyDeleteThe Sheriff needs to step up and demand control of the jail. What kind of Sheriff doesn't operate the jail? Things have got to change, and the County can't handle it.
ReplyDeleteThese are the same officials that want us to vote to extend the useless Combat tax 1/4 cent for what? Crime is crazy out here. It is drug fueled.
ReplyDeleteAnd they also want 1/8 cent new tax for at risk youth with drug related problems. WTF?
Isn't that what Combat funds?
Then we have drug court. SMH.
These prisoners are awaiting trial. But sure, let them have keys to the jailhouse. Why not?
Agree with @9:57 - This should be a call to action for Frank White. Either do your job or give up the office. Jackson County deserves better than a figurehead and a fake leader.
ReplyDeleteJackson County Courts are the most corrupt courts in the region.
ReplyDeleteI hope those poor girls get a good lawyer a sue everybody. Whatever staff allowed that to happen should be fired. Maybe KC should do its own version of "60 Days IN" and see what comes up.
ReplyDeleteIn jackson County, just like KCMO, the electeds don't have time or bother to provide any oversight of much of anything their levels of government are responsible for.
ReplyDeleteThey're too busy running around to receptions, fake town hall meetings, ribbon-cuttings, and other celebrity public appearances and taking advantage of their stadium boxes, free tickets, and all the other goodies that the taxpayers would really be outraged about if they knew.
It never ends.
Rex Tarwater runs the jail, he was hired by the County Executice's office. He hasn't changed a bit. Never takes responsibility, cheating, piece of shit. The man has the ethics of a snake.
ReplyDeleteRelated to Dan Tarwater?
DeleteWere they hot?
ReplyDeleteAsshole guards and nasty food
ReplyDeleteMaybe it would not hurt to wait for the investigation to determine if a sex crime actually took place.
ReplyDeleteThe guys walking around were caught on camera. The guards wiped down the crime scene. But were the torn clothing scraps put in the dumpster?
DeleteLooks like Frank isn't the answer.
ReplyDeleteThe difference between guards and prisoner is the guards go home at night.
ReplyDeleteFrank White was a no-show at the meeting to discuss the jail. What was more important than this Frank White? WTF?
ReplyDeleteFrank Baseball White will be elected because he has no opposition. Fine. Bastard can have a little paycheck but this shows what he is really all about. Not doing the job.
What happened to the rape kits done on the female inmates? Where are they? What are the results? When were they done? Ask those questions.
