How does a private company issue a parking ticket? What happens if you don't pay? Many years ago, Westport used to issue parking tickets. They were slapped down by the Missouri Supreme Court and were no longer allowed to do so. What has changed?

fuck it. just go to joco instead. parking is free everywhere over there, and you won't get shot.

As if there are not enough reasons to just bypass KC altogether.

There's not much reason to go to downtown Kansas City. All of the other county offices in nicer places where parking is free... it just seems like a hastle to go anywhere near downtown. I certainly wouldn't want to park there and be another victim of the parking racket. This story should be about why it cost $10 to park anywhere in downtown. That's robbery!
