Consider The Jackson County Youngster Tax

It's a nice idea but voters also need to consider other County programs that have failed to deliver like COMBAT that hasn't really helped the fight against crime and that vaporware train line that's still mostly weeds. You decide: Tax for youth services in KC area would raise millions, if voters approve

What's really too bad about efforts like this is that there are many very effective, responsible, well-managed organizations that provide services to young people and could probably use more money.
But a Jackson County tax will result in yet another big trough of money that will be dolloped out by a group of political appointees to all the usual suspects, none of who are the least bit effective or accountable.
And it's really not even the grifters fault. It's the local politicos who are more interested in themselves and their friends and don't have the guts or even interest to spend the taxpayers' money responsibly.
As usual, the kids suffer.
Vote NO.

Great a new tax so the mayor can throw more pizza parties for the urban yoot. That will fix things for sure.

More likely the girlfriends and mistresses of the local politicians will get jobs so they will not need to be supported by the men.

Will this be run any differently than the water department?

Typical Democrat response. Just throw more money at the problem and never get to the heart of it. Either that or just blame whitey for keeping you down.

It would probably be cheaper to just give every single girl who has a child $1000 per month to move at least 200 miles from the metro. Most of the thugs would leave town because they couldn't get laid and there would be no next generation of idiots. We could lay off half the police force, get rid of the KC school district, hospitals would make money and our neighborhoods would be safe and clean.

Jackson County voters will decide in the November election whether to approve an eighth-cent sales tax that would raise millions of dollars to support.....

the Liberal Socialist Democrat Nanny-state which employs like-minded bureaucrats which consume nearly all of the tax funds on salaries, benefits, perks, diversity training, inclusiveness awareness, transgender bathrooms, Las Vegas retreats for management, company cars, and generous retirements.

DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN!

What the hell is it that has these copulating millennials expecting the whole world to pay for their fucking kids? I thought having kids was a choice in this country, but things are getting to the point where parents have custody and the damn tax payers pay to raise them. Between the income tax deductions, billions in schools, meals, sales tax days, sports programs, educational grants, city swimming pools, kids parks, mayors nights and all the rest of the shit tax payers pick up the tab for it is a damn crime that we don't make these freeloaders button their bloomers.

The idea that a single tax payer should continue to contribute 2/3 of his property taxes to these little bastards is insanity. It is time for parents to either be able to afford their rug rats or find something else to do on Saturday night besides shagging.
