Celebrate Kansas City LGBT Art Project

Nice write-up on one of the more popular local art exhibits wherein people actually talk about the work and the issues and context of their creation rather than just posing for fellow hipsters and scenesters like First Friday. Take a peek: Painting and Recording Queer Lives in Kansas City

Yep I'd put this gay shit right up there with mowing the lawn or maybe wiping my ass.

So is there any art anymore that isn't an obsession with self and/or the endless definition of niche identity issues?

Could you please get your language standardized for the benefit of anyone attempting to understand your message?

QUEER? Exactly what is the definition?

For a woman who is homosexual, don't all these terms apply: "Gay" , "Lesbian" , "Queer" ?

There are no bisexual men, and only bi-curious women. Anyone who claims they're bisexual is actually afraid to admit they're gay.

The name LGBTQ is merely a marketing ploy designed to give the public the impression that it represents a large group. Shouldn't your group just be called "GAY" and the "Transgenders" are a separate much smaller distinct group?
