TKC TOLD YOU SO!!! OUR BLOG COMMUNITY PREDICTED SUMMER 2016 BLOOD BATH!!! NOW HOW DO WE STOP THE VIOLENCE?!?!

Let's remember back to Memorial Day when our KICK-ASS TKC blog community ACCURATELY predicted the threat of violence in Kansas City and beyond this Summer.

But being right, as usual, isn't good enough . . . More than anything we're here to help and inform along with sharing out penchant for bad jokes and big booty broads.

To wit . . .

HOW CAN WE STOP THE KANSAS CITY BLOODSHED AND MURDER AS KANSAS CITY STANDS AT A 5-YEAR-HOMICIDE HIGH FOR THIS CALENDAR DATE?!?!

A few things to consider . . .

- Our political leadership continually touts gun control as a solution to local violence or at least uses this talking point against GOP control of the Missouri House.

- Supporters of police accurately note that the spike in local violence corresponds with reductions in KCPD staffing and budget tinkering courtesy of City Hall and their development agenda.

- Meanwhile, our citizens task force against violence commissioned by the Mayor has said NOTHING and many feel it is nothing more than a bad joke.

And so, like it or not, the discourse and discussion of this topic is left to this blog community as we battle spammers, haters and so many Internets consultant hacks who would rather push their own agenda than look at the biggest threat confronting Kansas City during this CRUEL SUMMER reported FIRST by our blog community.

You decide . . .

Comments

  1. You hint at it here but don't come out and say it: IF you cut police and take them off the streets, then what do you expect?

Less police funding = more crime.

I wish somebody would explain the math to Mayor James.

  2. ^^^^ You mean the streetcar didn't fix all the crime? Pshaw!

    ReplyDelete
  3. If we just stop the streetcar expansion all your dreams will come true.

  4. You know where I live if the police force got reduced by half I bet crime wouldn't increase at all. Murder probably wouldn't go up from the zero that we have. You know why? Because few black people live here, that's why. Amazing a city full of educated, working, nuclear families don't need police to keep our behavior in check.

  5. 52 murders now, Summer just getting started.

  6. The is actually near no correlation between the numbers of police on the streets and crime reduction. However, if you have a 40 percent clearance rate, a bottle of Gin and an uncle that wants to do your sister you can bet somone's ass will get lit up before the night is over. Please don't tell anyone in the ghetto tho...

  7. BEGIN AT THE BEGINNING

    KANSAS CITY, MO
    Population (2015 est.) = 472,800 Racial percentages = White 59; Black 29; Hispanic 10; Other 2
Leadership = Mayor Sylvester James, Black male, Democrat, attorney
    2015 KCMO homicides = 109; 51 cleared by KCPD
    Top 3 homicide motives = 50 unknown, 30 argument, 15 domestic violence
Top Victim Age Group = 44 in age 17 to 24
Top Suspect Age Group = 44 unknown; 38 in age 17 to 24
    Top Means of Attack = 80 Firearm/Handgun; 7 Knife
Top Police Division For Homicides = 46 in East Patrol
Top Homicide Victim Race/Sex = 69 Black Male; 13 White Male
Top Homicide Suspect Race/Sex = 45 Unknown; 44 Black Male; 15 White Male

    see crime statistics here: http://kcmo.gov/police/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2015/12/HOM001DailyHomicideAnalysis2015-12-31-08-00-33.pdf

Encourage KCPD to profile black males, age 17-24, in the East Patrol Division. Every time KCPD has an encounter with this demographic, search for handguns, and arrest everyone who is carrying without the proper licensing, etc. Watch KCMO's homicide rate plummet, while leaving the majority who are not committing the homicides undisturbed.

  8. A real conversation about the issue with our elected leaders would be a great starting point but most of then are to obsessed with their own careers.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Why do all that when we can just get on a blog and promise everything would be better if it weren't for the stinky old streetcar!

    ReplyDelete
  10. ^^^^ The streetcar is part of the problem, you would rather spend money on that then police and the Black community. The streetcar is just another example of white supremecy.

You can't profile, because it violates the presumption of innocence. In America, why would anyone have an "illegal" weapon, when nearly anyone can legally buy one?

    The disenfranchised commit crime, duh!

The real problem, & therefore, the solution is to end the disenfranchisement.

The ultimate state of disenfranchisement is murder of police officers.

If we want the violence to end, we must end the class/race war against poor blacks.

  13. The Truth of the Matter7/10/16, 11:10 PM

I worked with kids in the juvenile criminal justice system here for years until I burned out and had to quit. There were occasional bad seeds from good families, but mostly the kids came from families that were garbage. Their parents and grandparents had criminal records too, however, I have to add that male adult relatives were usually nowhere to be found. They are raised to be completely amoral, to steal anything that isn't nailed down and to hurt people when they feel like it. They have no respect for anyone or anything. Counseling them is useless. They won't take advantage of school or vocational training. From their viewpoint why should they train to get a job when they can be lazy, collect welfare checks, and supplement that unearned income with items and money they steal. They think people who work for what they have are suckers. Feel sorry for them if you want to. I stopped a long time ago.

  14. Obama started this whole thing by sowing mis trust of the Police. Now Hillery is doing the same.

  15. 11:10 PM is probably the saddest comment I've ever read on this site. Thank you for posting that, it offers a good reality check for all of these people talking about "solutions" but don't have any real experience.

  16. Obama didn't sow mistrust of police, that existed long ago.

  17. Being poor is not fun. It isn't something that is chosen. Many don't see a way out.

    ReplyDelete
  18. No one would be poor if it wasn't for the streetcar. No one would be black either. All bad things are caused by the toy train, and all your problems will be solved if you help stop the streetcar extension through 100% white midtown neighborhoods.

    ReplyDelete
  19. ^^^ Reading TKC first thing in the morning. The streetcar cheerleaders seem to be desperate.

  20. "Being poor is not fun. It isn't something that is chosen. Many don't see a way out." You must think that God said "Thou shalt be poor" and took away their ability to better their stations. Plenty of people who started life poor end it comfortably well off, some even wealthy. So it can be done, but the multi-generational poor just don't do it.

  21. Being poor is a bitch, but being poor and stupid is worse. When 50 percent of your kids are dropping out of high school your race is fucking dumb for thinking that is even an option. Maybe instead of fining parents at the plaza we could fine parents based on school attendance of their little yard apes.

I sincerely hope your comment was a joke, and that you were just playing "dumb Liberal" to get people riled up.

You don't write clearly, so it's difficult to comprehend some of the points you were attempting to make.

You're promoting a continuance of the failed ENABLING strategy which is classic Democratic Party bullshit. Instead of demanding personal responsibility for all, you would have "poor blacks" designated a protected class and continue the perpetual cycle of poverty.

  25. How do we stop the violence?

    Here's a thought.

Maybe don't give ignorant, racist, hating, ugly, stupid people a place and opportunities to spew that racism and bile on a public format? Regardless if it's against blacks or Hispanics or Chinese or Whites or whomever?

    Could we start there?
