TKC READER EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE COUNT DOUBLE CHECK!!!

Breaking news commentary from this morning deserves a second look if only because numbers and data related to Kansas City's Summer murder spree tell a story of their own.

To wit . . .

CHECK THIS KICK-ASS TKC READER NUMBER CRUNCHING REGARDING THE CURRENT KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE SPREE THAT REMAINS AT A FIVE-YEAR HIGH FOR THIS DATE ON THE CALENDAR AFTER ANOTHER MORNING MURDER!!!

Here's the word . . .

"Actually this is murder #53. Medical examiner hasn't officially ruled the beating death of the one year old from May as a homicide. Also the man beaten and found two weeks ago at 24/Campbell will likely pass as the news said he's not expected to survive."

Double tap . . .

"Add police related homicides back in and we are at a 15 year high. The 'police chief of the people' reduced homicides by not counting all of them any more . . ."

To be fair, KCPD counting of homicides now conform with Unified Crime Reporting standards used by the FBI and the reality is that KCPD is in the midst of "reducing positions while maintaining service" according to the Chief.

It's also worth noting Kansas City "crime displacement" as we've seen local crooks target outlying areas and inner suburbs in a search for softer targets.

Like it or not and just as TKC predicted . . . THE KANSAS CITY BLOODY SUMMER 2016 CONTINUES while this town focuses on politics and the topic of taxpayer subsidized development.

You decide . . .

  1. Do our 24 million tourists know about this?

I guess KC has a way of always fudging the numbers.

  2. ^^^^^^^^ The numbers are fudged. But I think we're talking about a failure that starts at the top and not with police or neighborhoods. Again and again, it's lack of leadership. That's why the Mayor is more concerned with his lawyer and developer friends.

  3. And our illustrious Mayor throws up his hands and demands to know what is going on, when he should have some idea and--brace yourself--perhaps even be prepared to do something about it.

Ah well. Those cigars aren't gonna smoke themselves, and that colossal Mayoral waistline requires maintenance!

  4. The police wonder why the community doesn't trust them. This is part of the reason. Their willingness to lie, cheat and steal doesn't bode well when they're trying to establish trust where its been wholly absent. Keep up the good work KCPD. NWA called it right.

  5. Displacement. Dedicate huge amounts of money and manpower to "hot spots" in the ghetto. Push black thugs out to north of the river, midtown, plaza, brookside, waldo, far south where the police can't even answer calls within a reasonable amount of time......for lack of resources.

  6. More money for the streetcar will solve this!

  7. The only way out is more take home cars for KCPD. But I think they already have more take home cars than they have policemen on the street.

  8. 116 ROCKS!!!

  9. ^^^^^^^^ Ouch.

  11. Real Simple! If you have coons, you have violent crime. Black Thugs Matter.

  12. Hey but you have a toy train

  13. Murders will decline when Trump brings back the jobs. Wake up black people the Democrats like you on the dole so they can control you.
