  1. Do you want cell service or not? If you do, then towers are an unfortunate necessity. These NIMBY types kill me, they'll whine constantly if they don't have full bars in the basement of their McMansion while trying to brag on Facebook about the latest thing they're mortgaged to the hilt to afford, yet try to actually make their service better and they complain that someone else should have to look at a tower, not them.

  2. The 63rd Street tower will not be an eyesore for the wealthy enclave but for the middle cass folks.

  3. This ia trhe price you pay for theright to drive like a fucking idiot while using your cells phone, interupping dinner with your friends and family because YOU stupid fucking texts and phone calls can not wait 30 damn minuted, doing play by play to your friends while on a date, having phone sex while driving down I-70, standing right smack dab in the middle of the shopping isle while you call home to check if that was pink or blue ass wipe you were supposed to pick up, kissing your bosses ass in real time telepathically and for making fun of those old farts and CB radio. Suck it up you little high tech members of the metroplex you are learning what your elders already knew. For every good innovation there is price to pay..The real bitch if it is in a decade or two there will be a new technology that either does not require cell towers or requires a different type of tower and antennae. You may then spend millions of tax dollars having them declared historic places or just sit and watch a tiny, fading chunk of history rust all to hell as you blow and go about the good old days when everyone thought the cell phone was the ultimate "must have" device. Of course by there you will realize they were just another silly assed gadget in a long line of crapola you purchased.

  7. 10:27 - Yep, there was this hypocrisy with the anti nukes protests at power generation stations around 30 years ago. Those goofs yelled and shoved flyers at the boilermakers/pipefitters/plumbers/etc. at construction sites. Day after day plenty of those hollering college girls showed up with the big hair and too much make-up. A tradesman told them day after day their blow-dried, hot rollered and sprayed hair wasn't saving the environment. Another always asked if they thought buying, then caking on the cosmetic chemicals was damaging for them and the planet?

  8. Can waves from a giant cell tower be used to cook things?

  9. Gee, what a coincidence. The only place in all of Mission Hills that has the proper zoning for a cell tower lease is city owned.

  10. ^^^^^^Not city owned and not Mission Hills

  11. Maybe it can be disguised as a large tree? After all, our wastewater plant was designed to look like a house.
