Not just our 3rd favorite Toto song for this Yacht Rock Tuesday . . . But a sign of even more poor service for Kansas City amid a Summer crime spree: 911 callers in KCMO being put on hold?
Update . . . Broken link for now but here's a look at a few deets from this story that'll probably be on tonight's newscast.

Don't forget. Even though people get through to dispatch. Police don't arrive until hours later.
ReplyDeletePSA: Take care of yourself. Be prepared.
Call 911 and die

ReplyDeleteJust wait for the emergency that doesn't get answered and then the lawsuits runneth over......KC and many other cities have the same issue, they don't have enough people to answer the phones and they don't have enough cops to send to the calls
It's going to take a flood of lawsuits to hit the city and they'll find out it's cheaper to hire the employees to take care of business
When are you pussies going to get that the only person protecting you is YOU?
ReplyDeleteI don't need a gun.
ReplyDeleteBecause when SECONDS count, the police will be there in MINUTES.
kcpd is a shit hole police department
ReplyDeleteHow can this be? The etax passed. That was going to fund important services like 911.
ReplyDeleteDo they put you on hold if you call the suicide hotline?
ReplyDeleteScrew 911. We have 18th & Coonville to worry about
ReplyDeleteAnother KC service gone to waste.
ReplyDeleteCall 311.
ReplyDeleteCall 911 to report an emergency and get put on hold. Dial 311 to report a pothole and they will answer right away. They can't fix the pothole cause there is no funding for staff. They have enough assistant city engineers to report the problem though. Brought to you by that asshat Troy Schulte. Council needs to fire that fat ass.
ReplyDeleteNewsflash. This has going on for years. It's nothing new.
