ReplyDeleteHammerspace is a locally owned workshop and has an open house every Thursday evening and tours every half hour. The amazing members will be happy to talk with you or your children about their builds. There is a "kid room" full of games and other great items for little builders. They are at 63rd and Oak in an old brick telephone building, and they have any kind of tool you need to build your project, including 3D printers and laser cutters. The family friendly shop is available to members for a monthly or annual fee.
