Recap of today's big Swope Park scare that ultimately ended with a recapture and return to normal at the Kansas City prison for animals.
Here's more proof that animals don't like their surroundings in this town's forever tax money pit.
Take a look:
KSHB: The zoo issued a 'code red' after going on lockdown when patrons saw Kali, a 7-year-old orangutan, on the outdoor wall of the enclosure. Guests were asked to stay inside several exhibits until zookeepers could capture the ape.
KMBC: Kansas City Zoo visitors were taken into buildings for safety after one of the zoo’s orangutans reached the outer perimeter wall of its exhibit Sunday.
Fox4: After about 30 minutes, the Zoo Emergency Response Team had all orangutans secured behind the scenes, and the Code Red was lifted.
You decide . . .
Right turn Clyde
