Meanwhile, asphalt streets disintegrate into rubble. Water main leaks make the city look like it's built of one huge spring. Crime is rampant and brazen criminals increase their presence.

KCMO is doomed with this type of leadership.

Power & Blight luxury apartments? Holy shit, who wants to live in a neighborhood where the principal attraction is drunk 20-somethings regurgitating their dinner on the sidewalks? I wouldn't want to live among that even if you paid my rent for me.

So developers get 25 year tax abatements for units that collect no taxes like a condo or loft would. And the job of paying taxes falls to the homeowners in the city. We
