At the risk of providing just a bit of realism regarding recent news reports about the remnants of social justice protest following deadly police shootings and mass murder terrorism in Dallas . . . Kansas City simply doesn't seem that interested in the dreaded "conversation" about race or not as much as chasing imaginary characters created in the Far East.
Accordingly . . . This bit of local reporting on recent Kansas City protest is nice because there was no violence but might be a let down for all my social media "friends" who were talking about a revolution last week.

Still . . .
In the context of the culture where value is determined by social media mentions and other degrading metrics which create insidious fake memes like Chewbacca mom . . . Strictly from a media perspective . . . Which seems to be the only perspective that matters nowadays . . . By and large, Kansas City really doesn't seem to care about Black Lives Matter or anything beyond their mobile phone for the most part.
