KANSAS CITY LGBT DIVISIONS EMERGE AMID ORLANDO MASS SHOOTING VIGIL!?!

Here's as important but debatable bit of reporting from local public radio which "reveals" that Kansas City's LGBT community is just as diverse as every other cross-section of town.

But first a bit of reaction from local denizens who sent the link our way.

One local LGBT leader says: "Horribly written story pieced together without a response from Missie B's or LIKE ME Lightouse on a holiday weekend."

  8. So much for these people's motto: "Never leave your buddy's behind."

  9. The victims weren't just LGBT's, they were Latino's.

How can you truly have a 'vigil' without including them.

Being LGBT is all about Inclusion, or should be.

Naturally, a lot of man/childs needed to say something snarky, yet anonymously.

  10. BTW, "he" deliberately did NOT shoot Blacks.

So, it wasn't just about being 'gay', it was an attack against Latino's.

    1. That's one thing we can agree on there. Total novice whose group has insulted numerous long time civil rights leaders because they are people of faith, claimed people who won over segregation and other issues in the past 30-60 years as irrelevant. She says horrible things about her boss who has done remarkable work in lowering the AIDS numbers in the metro because he is white; matter of fact, they don't believe whites have anything to offer any of the civil rights fights no matter what they've done to show their commitment to equality. That's not how we have been getting things done around here, they've done more harm to our progress then they will ever understand but you can't tell them anything. That's why most local orgs won't deal with her any more.

  12. I actually know Diane ,she is heavily involved with BLM ,and has a separate spinoff group for whites who support the BLM movement. Everything is race centric with her.
The events were thrown together quickly,
The vigil at jc fountain was so that people could publicly mourn.
The lighthouses used theirs to promote violence against LGBTQ youth.
The B held an indoor/outdoor all day event , the purpose was to raise money for the victims.Over 37K was raised.
The BLM groups were incensed that thrir message doesn't resonate like Orlando

The BLM groups were incensed that their message doesn't resonate like the Orlando's .Recently in Columbia, MO a BLM speaker berated the crowd for not showing up at the BLM rallies in mass like Orlando rallies. The BLM speaker was shouted off stage.
