GOLDEN GHETTO OVERLAND PARK PO-PO FIRED OVER THREATENING SOCIAL MEDIA POST AGAINST YOUNG GIRL AND HER MOM REFERENCING BLACK LIVES MATTER!!!
Overland Park Police took quick action this Friday afternoon amid social media outrage and a really horrible post attributed to an officer.
There have been a few feeble attempts to defend this one but on the picture of a young girl, a FORMER Overland Park Police Officer wrote this according to news reports . . .
"We'll see how much her life matters soon . . . better be careful leaving your info open where she can be found :) hold her close tonight, it'll be the last time."
He was fired Friday afternoon.
Stranger still . . . The victim of the threat doesn't have anything to do with Kansas, doesn't know the guy and seems kinda surprised by the remark . . . So I guess that new Facebook algorithm is working out horribly for everyone.
Credit where it's due, for better or worse quick action from Overland Park helped nix a controversy that was quickly raising suspicion about the department. The reality is that Overland Park is increasingly a diverse community with a police force that's doing their best to cope with changing times and clearly didn't want to be associated with alleged social media hateration.
