Here's an important note that could save local taxpayers a buck at the expense of inexperienced and aloof Jackson County legislators.

INSIDERS FEAR JACKSON COUNTY IS RISKING THE TITLE TAX IN A NOVEMBER VOTE THAT WILL ATTRACT INCREASED SCRUTINY FROM ANGRY VOTERS IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION!!!

It's a pretty standard continuation of yet another titling tax BUT they're forced to ask voters given a crackdown on levies like this one from the state. And so, in a crowded field, attentive voters might just be able save a buck.

ReplyDeleteIn six months they will be screaming about lack of revenue as another highway cracks and falls into further disrepair. I'm sure they will get right on it and remodel another sports stadium to fix the problem though.

In August, the GOP has a large number of contested primaries, which brings out the knuckledragging, hate-mongering, greed-heads who would vote against all taxes and fees. There will be higher turnout and more diverse turnout in November.
