"Just after midnight, officers responded to the area near 28th and Tracy. The shooting reportedly sent two people to the hospital. One of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries. The other person is in serious condition.
About 20 minutes later, gunfire erupted again three and a half miles away near 50th and Euclid. Three people were shot, according to police. One person is recovering from a gunshot wound to the leg."

ReplyDeleteAnd if you look at the homicides so far this year, or in years past for that matter, the racial identity of both victims and perps is rather concentrated.
It continues to be unlikely that anything meaningful will be done until folks at least have the guts to seriously and honestly identify and address the problem.
